A little bit about myself
Welcome to Greg's Cochera, a curated sanctuary where my artistic vision finds its home. "Cochera," the Spanish word for garage, perfectly encapsulates the spirit of this space—a place for invention and exhibition, a personal gallery showcasing the culmination of my lifelong passion for art.
My work is an exploration of vibrant color and meticulous detail, a glorification of the interplay between my artistic sensibilities and a fascination with unique keepsakes and collectibles. I don't merely observe an object; I delve deeper, perceiving a rich tapestry of cool and warm hues, profound color depth, and intrinsic luminosity. The dance of light, whether emanating from a nocturnal streetlamp or the brilliance of the sun, endlessly captivates me. It's in the subtle nuances—the dappled light beneath a tree on an automobile's surface or the nuanced transparency of a motorcycle's headlamp—that countless variables converge, forming a rich palette that I am compelled to capture.
My creative process is as fluid as it is diverse, embracing an array of techniques and mediums. This adaptability allows each piece to evolve organically. A signature element of my finished works is the application of polyurethane resin, a meticulous process that imbues each painting with a magnificent depth and brilliance, truly bringing the artwork to life.
My pieces currently reside in some of the most selective private collections.
If you are interested in collaborating or simply wish to connect, please feel free to reach out. I deeply appreciate your interest in my art.
